Salam semua,

Dah breakfast?? Kalau kat Malaysia sekarang ni orang dah dinner, tapi kat UK ni kitorang baru nak breakfast. Hihi..neway, hari ni penat sangat sebab semalam dah seharian berjalan so kita bekfast style omputeh lagi lah hari ni ek, kita makan buttermilk pancake. Resipi ni dapat kat SINI.

Ingredients :-

2 1/2 cups water
1 1/4 cups caster sugar
2 x 100g packets Lion of Sahara Dried Strawberries
1/4 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1 cup self-raising flour, sifted
1 1/4 cups buttermilk
1 egg
olive oil cooking spray
low-fat yoghurt, to serve

Method :-

1. Heat water, 1 cup of sugar and strawberries in a saucepan over low heat until sugar dissolves. Increase heat.
2. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat to low. Simmer for 50 minutes or until strawberries soften. Set aside.
3. Combine remaining sugar, bicarbonate of soda and flour in a bowl. Whisk buttermilk and egg. Stir into flour mixture.
4. Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Spray with oil. Pour 2 tablespoonfuls of batter into pan. Cook for 2 minutes or until bubbles form on surface. Turn. Cook a further 1 to 2 minutes or until cooked through. Repeat with remaining mixture. Serve with strawberries and yoghurt.
