Pavlova


Ini lah rupa Vanilla Pavlova yang aku buat untuk jamuan kat opis semalam. Actually bahan2 nak buat Pavlova ni senang je cuma nak menjaga crust dia tu supaya tak rentung je yang leceh sikit. Anyway, benda ni memang sedap, kira kalau tak mau buat kek boleh ganti ngan dia ni lah. Topping pun boleh je letak ikut suka hati. Ok, jom tengok resepi.

Vanilla Pavlova
Bahan binaan Meringue:-

6 large egg whites
1/2 teaspoon Cream of Tartar
1 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1 1/2 Tbsp Cornstarch
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar (Boleh kurangkan)

Topping:-

Whipped cream
Fresh Fruits
Blueberry Sauce (optional)

Cara Binaan:-

1. Place rack in the middle and preheat oven to 225F. Line a large parchment paper.
2. Stir cornstarch and sugar into a small bowl.
3. Whip egg whites and cream of tartar starting from low to medium speed until soft peak start to become visible.
4. Increase the speed to high and sprinkle the sugar-cornstarch mixture. After a few minutes, slowly pour the vanilla extract. Whip until meringue become glossy and stiff peaks form.
5. Spoon the meringue into 8 large round shape about 3 inches wide on the baking sheet. Create an indentation in the middle to hold the filling later on.
6. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until meringue is crisp and not to brown. The interior should have a marshmallow consistency.
7. Gently remove from the baking sheet and let cool on a wire rack. Served topped with whipped cream, blueberry sauce, vanilla pudding and fresh fruits.
